We reduce the use of natural resources

By using recycled materials such as rPET and recycled nylon, we reduce the burden on the environment caused by non-renewable resources. Recycling PET into rPET requires less water and energy than producing virgin plastic, which helps lower both water consumption and CO2 emissions during production. By optimizing our materials and processes, we minimize our environmental impact compared to conventional bags.

Digital Product Passport

Every XD Design product includes a unique Virtual ID that gives you full insight into its journey. The Aware technology allows you to trace the real impact of your backpack, from the recycled materials used to the verified reduction in water and CO₂ emissions. By scanning the QR code, you can access trusted data securely stored on the blockchain, powered by Aware tracers. Transparency you can trust, sustainability you can see.

Product Footprint

By using the #Ontrack tool we calculate the life cycle and CO2 footprint of our products. This allows us to understand the impact of our products and select the best materials with a low CO2 footprint, offering a more responsible option to our customers. The footprint calculation has a cradle-to-grave scope and includes the products packaging and accessories.
